All prices are in Canadian dollars, before HST. Final pricing depends on the equipment, existing wiring, panel location, service arrangement and work required.

Your written quote identifies the panel and breakers, installation labour, ESA fees, utility charges and any additional work. Panel relocation, extended wiring, trenching and repairs to existing defects are included only where specified.

A panel replacement changes the electrical panel while keeping the existing service capacity. It may be appropriate when the panel is damaged, obsolete, difficult to maintain or lacks suitable space for the planned circuits.

A replacement panel can provide a better circuit arrangement, but replacing a panel alone does not increase the electrical capacity supplied to your property.

A service upgrade increases the capacity of the electrical supply—for example, from 100A to 200A. Depending on the existing installation and utility requirements, it may involve the panel, meter equipment, service conductors, grounding and bonding.

Elecomp assesses the complete installation so the equipment and supply are suitable for the proposed upgrade.

An assessment can help when:

An upgrade from 100A to 200A starts from $3,500 before HST. Service arrangement, equipment location, utility requirements and additional work affect the final price.

No. The panel rating alone does not determine your service capacity. The electrical supply, service equipment, conductors and protection must be assessed together.

Not necessarily. We assess your household loads and charging requirements before recommending an upgrade. Other suitable charging arrangements may be available.

Yes. Panel replacement and service upgrade work generally require a planned power interruption. We explain the expected outage and coordinate the necessary arrangements.

The schedule depends on the scope, site conditions, equipment availability and utility and inspection arrangements. We provide an expected schedule after assessing your property.

Your written quote clearly identifies whether ESA and utility fees are included or listed separately. Elecomp coordinates the required ESA process for the work.

Not necessarily. Repeated tripping can have several causes. We investigate the problem before recommending a repair or replacement.
